What is Kinesiology and what can it do for me?
Kinesiologists are much more than a personal trainer. We hold a University Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology (which is the study of human movement) and have an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and proper movement patterns as well as the science behind different training types and intensities.
Whether it's managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, improving athletic performance, or getting fit, a Kinesiologist will work with you to establish your health goals, and consider your health history and conditions to prescribe a customized exercise program just for you! Talk about using your time effectively!
Our Kinesiologists are experts at exercise prescription for the following conditions or injuries:
- Muscle, tendon and repetitive strain injuries
- Recovery from surgery
- Parkinson's
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Joint replacements
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Cancer recovery
- Diabetes/Heart Disease/Obesity/Metabolic disorders
- Other chronic conditions
- Athletic performance
- Falls prevention/balance training
- Chronic pain
- Workplace health
- And more! Ask us if Kinesiology is suitable for YOU!
