Evan Somerville
Registered Physiotherapist, Dry Needling (IMS) Certified, Spine Manipulation, Vestibular Rehabilitation
Evan is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Masters in Physical Therapy Program (2019) and University of Victoria’s Kinesiology Program (2015). Evan grew up in Campbell River and is proud to be back serving his community. He has always had a love for sports and fitness including weight training, triathlon, golf, and basketball. While these sports have kept him active, they have not been without their own hurdles and injuries. It was through his own process of injury recovery that he discovered an interest in anatomy and rehabilitation. This led him to pursue education in Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapist he uses a detailed assessment to find the source of the problem and applies the most appropriate treatment tools to create a solution. Evan uses hands-on manual therapy, Dry Needling (IMS), exercise rehabilitation, and education to ensure his clients obtain the best rehab experience. His current interests lie in shoulder rehabilitation, low back injuries, strength training injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation.
