Prabjyot Bajwa
Kinesiologist
Registered Physiotherapist (expected Nov. 2026)
Prabjyot completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Human Kinetics) at the University of Regina before earning her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Having previously lived and worked in British Columbia, she is excited to return to Campbell River and begin her physiotherapy career with the Active Living Physiotherapy team.
Through her clinical placements and previous work as a kinesiologist and rehabilitation assistant, Prabjyot has gained experience treating a wide range of conditions in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, acute care, and workplace injury management. She has a special interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric physiotherapy, scoliosis management, and pelvic health, and is committed to expanding her skills through continuing education.
Prabjyot believes successful rehabilitation starts with understanding the whole person—not just the injury. She works collaboratively with each client to identify the factors influencing their recovery, including movement patterns, work demands, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and personal goals. Her goal is to empower clients with knowledge and practical strategies so they can confidently return to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside the clinic, Prabjyot enjoys hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, badminton, camping, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
