Trail/Pole Walking Group
Join a small group for walkers in a supportive, encouraging environment. Walks will mainly take place in Beaver Lodge Lands where you will learn different trails with a group leader, or along the SeaWalk. Nordic walking poles are optional and if you choose to use them, you will learn how to walk with Nordic Poles, how to fit your poles and properly use them!
What is trail pole walking?
A small group for walkers in a supportive, encouraging environment.
- Build your endurance over several weeks on a variety of trails.
- Walking poles can help with balance and endurance, activate your upper body and core! Plus it’s a fun way of exercising!
- Nordic poles are available for purchase from the clinic but are not necessary for the class
- All levels are welcome, however you must be able to walk for 20 minutes continuously in order to register
