Trail/Pole Walking Group


Have you ever wanted to walk in the trails but didn’t feel comfortable or know where to go??


Join a supportive group of walkers to learn:


-different trails in the Beaver Lodge Lands
-when and how to use poles in the trails and how to fit poles
-strength and stretching exercises
-benefits from using poles (poles optional!)

  • Look forward to progressing your endurance over several weeks. Learn a variety of trails.
  • Walking poles can help with balance and endurance, activate your upper body and it’s a fun way of exercising!
  • Nordic poles are available for purchase from the clinic but are not necessary for the class
  • All levels are welcome, however you must be able to walk for 20 minutes continuously to registe



All classes will start at the Active Living Physio Clinic, #2-2380 South Island Highway, Willow Point (Larwood Plaza)
