Evan Somerville
Registered Physiotherapist, Dry Needling (IMS) Certified, Vestibular Rehabilitation
Evan is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Kinesiology Program (2015) and the University of British Columbia’s Masters in Physical Therapy Program (2019).
Evan grew up in Campbell River and is proud to be serving the community he calls home. He has always had a passion for sports and fitness, with a background in weight training, triathlon, golf, and basketball. Like many active individuals, his journey hasn’t been without injury. It was through his own rehabilitation experiences that he developed a strong interest in anatomy and recovery, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
As a physiotherapist, Evan takes a thorough, individualized approach to assessment—aiming to identify the root cause of each issue and tailor treatment accordingly. He is known for his “gentle, but firm” style, tailoring a balance between pushing patients toward progress while providing the support they need along the way. His treatment approach incorporates manual therapy, dry needling (IMS), exercise-based rehabilitation, and education to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Evan’s rehab philosophy is simple: consistency is better than perfection.
Fun fact: Evan is a versatile musician who plays guitar, bass, and drums.
