Dizziness and Vertigo Symptoms

Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) is a highly effective, specialized form of Physiotherapy for those suffering from dizziness, vertigo, balance issues, or unsteadiness—often caused by inner ear or neurological conditions. If you've experienced vertigo, you know how overwhelming and even debilitating it can be. Simple tasks like walking, turning your head, or getting out of bed can become distressing and disorienting.

Our vestibular Physiotherapists are here to help you!

Your initial assessment includes a detailed history of your symptoms as well as information on medication, hearing or vision problems, history of falls, and activity level. We’ll perform a thorough evaluation of your balance, eye movements, coordination, and positional testing to identify the root cause of your symptoms—whether it’s BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), vestibular neuritis, post-concussion dizziness, cervico-genic dizziness or another issue.

Treatment is always personalized and may include:

  • Canalith repositioning maneuvers (e.g., Epley) for BPPV
  • Gaze stabilization exercises to improve visual focus
  • Balance and walking retraining
  • Habituation exercises to reduce motion sensitivity
  • Education and strategies to manage symptoms

With consistent care, many clients experience significant improvements in a matter of weeks. Our goal is to help you move with confidence again—so you can get back to doing what you love, whether it’s hiking, driving, working, or simply enjoying life without the fear of dizziness.
